1099 Independent Contractor or normal payroll?
 

what do you prefer?

i am starting a hourly job, they gave me the choice of getting paid professional fees style or payroll style. i cant decide what's better. ig uess 1099 since that's what i do with other stuff..

From the perspective of a business owner? If so, I like independent contractors. Our studio has been doing that for a number of years and it works great.

yeah i think you are right.

If you have somebody working for as an independant contractor for a long period of time the IRS might come after you for un paid employment taxes.
My accountant warned me of this being that I have 3 full time 1099 employees. He said next year I will have to make them regular employess.
