The episode was the same for everyone on Dateline.

It was about a guy who was a chemical distributor who crossed the line by starting & moderating an online bbs about exstacy. He basically wrote 3 books on how to make it, would tell everyone about his company that supplied the drugs w/o questions and basically used the board as one giant ad.

He's in jail now.

Just another person who had their freedom of speech taken away, good job on looking out for our rights whoever busted the guy. Spoken & written words should never be controlled, no matter what form they take.

The authorities couldn't do anything about "Spike" (was his handle) for that very reason. He could go online and basically tell anyone how to make drugs w/o ever being arrested.

But the fact that HE was the owner of the chemical company that supplied these kids with the ingredients, the recipe and the cooking supplies..& admitted it to Dateline, he was arrested 6 months later.

Fuckin idiot...lol

I beleive his handle was STRIKE....and that was a neat show...I went to his BBS after and read some of his posts.

They ran this story on DateLine after a friend of mine died of an Exstacy overdose at a local rave here in Vancouver on Sunday.

That always sucks big time when that shit happens, but it is more often than not some drug other than E that is the cause of death. Unless maybe they took several pills, it could have been many other things like ketamine, and there are some prescription drugs that don't mix well with it...

Well I didnt go in because tickets were $150 at the door...but I was outside when a friend ran out and told me that he had collapsed and the ambulence was comming. Aperently some idiot gave him some free E and he took 4 of the pills. 4 is allot especially since it was his first time. But since a girl also died at the rave the police have found out that there is a bad batch of E going around the city, and my friend was unlucky enough to get some of it. It was a bad batch because some idiot brewed it up in his basement and prolly didnt know what he was doing when he was making it....thats why its directly related to this thread. This Strike guy was teaching people how to make it.
