Tomorrows paper in the UK

Prince Harry wore a swastika arm band.......

Way too much inbreeding, I cant believe he would be that stupid :disgust

flashfire 01-12-2005 03:28 PM

are you for real...no he wouldnt, would he?

DutchTeenCash 01-12-2005 03:35 PM

stupid but as you prolly know swastika wasnt hitlers invention, theyve been around for ages

http://history1900s.about.com/cs/swa...ikahistory.htm

The Oldest Known Symbol

The swastika is an ancient symbol that has been used for over 3,000 years. (That even predates the ancient Egyptian symbol, the Ankh!) Artifacts such as pottery and coins from ancient Troy show that the swastika was a commonly used symbol as far back as 1000 BCE.

Manowar 01-12-2005 03:36 PM

Aren't the royal family orignally german anyway, they just changed their last name during the wars to avoid flak.

Monarchy blows anyway :1orglaugh

I dont think an elected head of state is a better system. An elected goverment sure, but elected head of states are more expensive plus why would someone want another load of elections every four years to vote for a head of state with no governing powers?

yes, though as I am sure you know, this country was kind of bombed nightly by the people he was dressing up as and oh yeah add in his family's historical involvement it does rather question if he had enough brain power to know that. He was clearly meaning it in a nazi way. Moron...and a royal one at that.

European Lee 01-12-2005 04:16 PM

William is still the cute one :Graucho

Lee

Haha, I hadn't made that connection.

European Lee 01-12-2005 04:32 PM

See now we have the full story its not as bad as the press are making it out to be.

He was wearing a costume for a fancy dress party.

Im sure if he went as a priest, a soldier, a butcher, or anything else the UK press would have found something to write about in a negative way.

Oh and Damien, yep i have seen Harry recently.. not my type though :)

Regards,

Lee

Sarah_Jayne 01-12-2005 04:36 PM

but Lee...I am afraid this falls under the big *duh* heading. I mean really, if he didn't think that wasn't going to make the press than maybe his really daddy took too many blows to the head on the rugby pitch and passed on the damage to him.

erehwon 01-12-2005 04:46 PM

Where are they sticking Mark Thatcher's guilty plea, I really thought he was going to get the shaft over this EG deal.

Sarah_Jayne 01-12-2005 05:14 PM

yeah...thatcher was the lead story on the evening news. That story isn't totally over yet as the main gov't inolved still wants his ass. I think a lot of people wouldn't mind seeing that happen.

Yeah but lets be honest.. the guy probably had to pass by several people prior to even being allowed to go to the party, they COULD and SHOULD have said something then if they thought it was going to be an issue, isnt that what they are paid for?

Regards,

Lee

evanmorgan 01-12-2005 05:24 PM

its for fancy dress, who cares

Sarah_Jayne 01-12-2005 05:31 PM

oh i agree...his minders either were getting a cut of the photograph money or were sleeping on the job. However, he is an adult.
