I'm easily amused, I guess. You see, I didn't go to 'Vegas for the first time in ages. But today I received this email:

Hello there!

It was really nice to see you and talk with you in Vegas, (albeit briefly!), and I just wanted to touch bases to follow up, as we all recover from the trip. :-).

As we discussed, Duocash is an alternative payment method whose time has come in the adult industry. We utilize "Duocash-enabled" prepaid phone cards now sold in over 20,000 locations in the US, (and 6,000 locations in Canada by the end of Jan), that can be used to make online payments to web merchants.

These payments are anonymous and private for the customer, and allow the over 50% of adults in the US who either won't, or can't use a credit card online, to make payments to web merchants.

Also, we can't ignore the fact that, unlike other "e-wallet" solutions out there, Duocash-enabled cards are also COMPLETELY independent of the credit card interchanges, and therefore completely independent of all credit card regulations, present AND future.

I would like to schedule a time to speak with you regarding integration of Duocash as a payment method on your websites.

I do think this is an idea whose time is coming... but I was still amused by their line about meeting me (albeit briefly).

OK, OK! So I admit that I got really really hazy on this trip! :glugglug

....and I got my cards screwed up with cards from the last one....

No need to be concerned there.....the only connection that we had with Ibill was that they were going to integrate Duocash as one of the payment methods that they would offer their merchants. Nothing happened with it.....they didn't even have a chance to do the integration.

No need to be concerned there.....the only connection that we had with Ibill was that they were going to integrate Duocash as one of the payment methods that they would offer their merchants. Nothing happened with it.....they didn't even have a chance to do the integration.

I've gone on record as a fan of DuoCash.

I'm also a fan of Sperber the man -- no, not that way.

However, having seen him in Vegas last week, it's obvious why he was having a hard time keeping business cards (or anything else, for that matter) in his pockets.

For chrissake, get help, Mikey -- we love you.

Steve Q? Although I've been in Adult for about 4 years, I have only been with Duocash for just over a year, and I don't know Steve Q

I like the idea of your product, Mike. I hope it catches on. It offers true anonymity for surfers and a credit-card free transaction.
