Anxiety
dude it sucks :(
|
do you take like xanax for it though?
|
ask juicy for some xanax. he's the pill pusher around here
|
Has anyone bought anxiety drugs over the 'net? How does that shit work?
Know a good online pharmacy? |
Xanax is cool to use during severe bouts of anxiety but it should not be used long term..in fact it can increase your anxiety when you stop taking it not to mention the chance of developing a dependency on the drug.
I have suffered from anxiety disorder for years...I've been to the pits of hell and back and my suggestion is get a doctor who will not only prescribe something like xanax short term to get you through the acute phase, but a drug like buspar that is not addictive but treats the anxiety. I rarely have attacks now...when I do I can recognize them for what they are and have methods to keep them from growing to full blown panic attacks. It's been pretty successful I've only had like 2 full blown panic attacks in about 3 or 4 years |
Vicotin help me out with anxiety sometimes...
|
i've had Anxiety attacks, not for a long time tho..........*knocks on wood*
|
if you suffer anxiety go to your doctor and find out if taking medicine is the right method... buy antidepressants illegally could just fuck your chemical imabalances even more...

my panic attacks start with my chest hurting and then i start to forget how to breath properly or whatever and then it goes to full panic :( ugh and it all comes out of the blue too i never do drugs or anything to provoke it |
I wouldn't want Xanax.. I have alcohol for that purpose :)
I'd want something to treat the shit.. it's like chronic. I've only had three panic attacks, but it's the every day stuff that gets in the way. |

I only get it when I've been partying too much.

My boyfriend had anxiety or has anxiety and it was very hard to deal with on a daily basis...We went to san diego for a weekend and he could not leave the hotel room to go to places..he would have sweaty palms..bathroom problems, fever all because a panic attack. He recently has been to the doctors office and they gave him some tips how to get rid of anxiety. Basically just when your getting an attack you have to breath deeply and try to keep yourself busy throught out the day and it is working for him right now..Hope this can help ya

As I posted above I have dealt with this stuff for years. I have found when anxiety occurs there are triggering factors. You say you did nothing to provoke it but I think if you look closely at your lifestyle you will find something. My triggering events include working long hours, not sleeping properly, not getting out often enough visiting with friends or staring at a monitor for far too long. So with that in mind if I find that I'm tired physically or mentally and an attack is coming on I just go lie down listen to some soft music and take a nap. I try to get out and away from the computer more often. I used to have a nice little flea market/ebay biz abour 3 years ago and I found that getting out and working in the sun at the flea market every weekend was exactly what I needed. The physical activity and being outside did more for my anxiety than any drug ever could. Good luck, I hope you feel better. |

Anxiety comes in two major forms in most cases but not all. GAD or General Anxiety Disorder which is has a signature of ongoing invasive worry no matter the situations. For example you may constaly worry over trivial things such as bills even though you are not in debt, promptness even though you are enver late etc. This worry is present during most day to day activities and not triggered by any specific situation.
Then the other big one is Panic Disorder with or without Agoraphobia. First of all don't be confused by the term Agoraphobia which most think means someone that refuses to leave the house out of some sort of fear. In respect to Panic Disorder it refers to avoiding certain palces or situations out of fear of having a panic attack and being left helpless or embarassed. Anyway, Panic Disorder which you may be well aware of has symptoms such as sudden raise in heart rate, a feeling of heart attack, profuse sweating, confusion, and other physical symptoms. The discussion of treatment of Panic Disorder is often debated. Some take the pharmacuitical approach and some prefer staged exposure/psychoanalytical treatments. Personally I feel both have merit and in the case of Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia the later is probably most effective. Just my opinion and thoughts but not scientifically proven. I also don't feel simply meds are the solution. It's like applying duct tape to a boat that is leaking. It might stop the boat from sinking but doesn't treat the cause of the leak. Anyway, anxiety as a whole is probably best treated by talking to a Psychologist that is knowlegable in cognative theraphy as well as RX and other areas of treatment. Cognativily, training your brain to read things and react differntly, I feel is a big step to beating general anxiety. Physiologically, deep breathing exercises can really help with lesser degrees of panic or anxiety. In other words there are tons of treatments and theories. I would suggest seeking the adivce of a professional that is knowledgeable in all aspects of treatment, not just RX treatments etc. I'de prefer and suggest that route over asking people here like myself. Best of Luck |
dont fight it.. just accept it...
:thumbsup |
Don't feel embarrased!! Over 19 million people in the US have a diagnosed anxiety disorder according to the ADAA. I'm sure a lot more than that actually have anxiety since those are just the diagnosed folks. A ton of us know what you are going through - hang in there though.

I've suffered from panic disorder since 19. Thats the main reason why I got into the biz...... I'd pass out so couldn't work and couldn't drive but had to pay the bills. Because of passing out I'd have the fear of passing out and nobody being there to call for help if I needed it so I couldn't be left alone. Then it went into agoraphobia to where I got so bad I wouldnt leave the couch .. taking a shower took less then a minute due to the fact that I didn't want to be left alone. I didn't know anyone with panic disorder and nobody I knew knew anyone with it so I was totally lost. At one point I was down to 75 lbs and was being force fed. I couldn't eat or sleep because of needless worry. Panic disorder can manifest into some wierd ideas expecially when you think your going crazy or your having a heart attack. In reality panic attacks wont make you crazy or give you a heart attack or any of those other things but it can make you to where you'll almost become obsessive about it. I'm 10 years older now and can say that I've had tiny episodes maybe twice in the last 9 years (once was when I found out ibill wasn't paying us anymore but anyone would have one in that case!) and I'm double the weight (ok so I could loose a few now lol). I've tried different meds and they all made me feel worse so I looked for a different route and found that keeping busy such as cleaning house or tinkering with something is the best therapy. It keeps your mind off the attack and relieves the nervous energy. I also had a friend give me a book about panic attacks and I read it to fully understand the symptoms and what causes the symptoms. Knowing the symptoms will ease your mind and help get over them easier. Theres no real reason for panic disorder and theres no cure..... mainly just find what works for you and stick with it. Wish you luck.

hypnosis works for anxiety. read up on it
|
Better see a doctor before you order any of these drugs online........ Oh, not to mention that you might feel like killing yourself the first few days. The meds seem make you feel super depressed......... Weird.....
