Obscure Metal acts with grammy nominations.
 

Cradle of Filth, Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed, and Metallica have all gotten a grammy nomination. I never imagined that metal of this breed would become so popular. Now if only the more underground ones could make it to the top, the world of music would be changed for the better.

okay metallica are obscure? and CoF are not obscure on this side of the atlantic anyway...great live too. Though Danni isn't looking his best these days.

and i don't want the more extreme metal to become mainstream..would ruin the 'rawness' of the gigs to have toddlers showing up.

is that for best metal performance? if so Metallica's latest tour was kickass as was Hatebreed's I didnt see the others live though

Yeah, I was posting my ass off in a contest for 100 dollars so that I could have a little funding to invest into the industry with. I'm also sick and had nothing better to do.


I know metallica isn't obscure, and they are probobly going to be the band to take the grammy away from the more obscure ones which is pretty fucking sad if you ask me. I enjoy the more underground acts, but give massive props to these bands for breaking into the mainstream.
