    Everyone stop working, the WORLD will END in 2012......

    "Some observers predict that in the year 2012, the earth awaits a super catastrophe: its magnetic field will turn over in one go. Phenomenal earthquakes and tidal waves will completely destroy our civilization. Europe and North America will shift thousands of miles northwards and will get a polar climate. Nearly the whole earth's population will perish in the apocalyptical happenings."

    Basically it's said to be connected with our Sun that has a 11500 year cycle and some people predict in 2012 the current cycle ends and a new will begin.

    Anyone heard about that theory? I am sceptical, but I read some about it, and it makes more sense than some of the other theories.

                                      well, Ice Ages had been happening on Earth regularly. We just don't know the exact reasons why they happened, since the human race is so young compared to Earth.

                                      We know that the Sun has 11 year cycles, because we CAN measure them so we did. But how can you prove that there aren't any bigger cycles....

                                      Ppl were saying the world will end in 2000, because it sounded good. This is something else.

                                      And I've read warnings about future climate changes just recently, maybe they know that some changes will happen, just aren't sure how big they will be.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      Basically it's said to be connected with our Sun that has a 11500 year cycle and some people predict in 2012 the current cycle ends and a new will begin.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      Anyone heard about that theory? I am sceptical, but I read some about it, and it makes more sense than some of the other theories.
