the Phoenix Forum - should i attend?
i haven't been to a convention in nearly 5 years, but i am *seriously considering attending Phoenix. what can i expect from this convention?
hell i've never been to Phoenix, what can i expect when i get off the plane? :winkwink: lots of associates and friends that i can't wait to meet, it's been too long since i've crawled out of my cave to hang out with anyone. :pimp |
when is it? details?
|
go for it
|
went to Phoenix for the first time last year, it will now be one I always attend.

rain i can easily deal with, what are the temps like that time of year? |
It was fun last year... warm but the severe rain made it much colder at times... Everytime we got lost going back to our room at night we got soaked... :) Good times though...
|
It is probably the best conference I've ever attended.
Well organised and geared for business and networking. A definite must attend. |
looks good, i have family in phoenix ;)
|
Its a great show we will definitely be there
|
I'm pretty sure I'll be goign to this too, I've heard so many good things about it.
|
Its one of the few shows worth attending.
|
Planning on being there. I hear it's one of the best.
|
The Phoenix Forum is great. I'll be going again this year. I really like the smaller shows, but I hear Phoenix gets bigger and bigger every year!
Last year Lightspeed had the girls bouncing on a trampoline naked. There were a few cops standing behind me to "keep the peace". I thought it was pretty funny. |
Definately the best gathering to get business done at. You can actually spend time with people, without all the BS at the "big shows". Dont get me wrong the big shows are great, but this is one of the better ones for spending quality time with REAL people in the industry.

I always enjoy the Phoenix show, last year it was pouring. The year before that it was sunny and warm the whole time, everybody was always at the pool networking and doing business.
I always get quite a bit done at that show and it's one I usually want to attend, smaller shows are great. Although, everybody is right, it's getting bigger and bigger by the year! |
One of my favorite shows! I always get a ton of biz done as well as it's always a good party. Being that I live only a few miles away, it doesn't hurt either. ;)
As for temps... the norm is high 70's and sunny... but it never seems to work out that way during that week. Last year was cold and rainy. |

Not too bad, rather pleasant . . . just wet |
great!
any first hand suggestions on hotels and such? |
Good show for sure, lots of biz to get done there :)

i think i would prefer cold and rainy to hot and muggy, hehe.
but i'm one of those mid-west snow bunny types. anything over 75 and i start getting bitchy. ;) |

oh man, that was ages ago. |
Blows every other show away - This is the one biz gets done at. :thumbsup
|
A very well rounded event. I say go!!! I found it to be low key, well organized with many good biz people to interact with.
City seems nice but I never really left the resort. |

sounds like a plan, i'll plan on booking the convention hotel.
and i don't want to hear anyone hootin' when i'm spotted at the vending machines at 3am in my Tigger slippers and Wonder Woman Underoos. |
