I had made a post about the oil changing place telling me I needed all kinds of work. I just got home from my friends shop and you all were right, they were just going to do work that didn't need to be done. I thought you might want to know.

fuckin mechanics...they try and make a 10 bucks for everyt dollars worth of problem

Yea they wanted to do $350 worth of work that didn't need to be done, I'm glad my friend has a shop. I can trust him, thank goodness.

why didnt you just take it to your friends shop in the first place?

I had went and got my oil changed. My friend doesn't have a mechanic full time. My friend was a head mechanic for VW about 17 years and he doesn't like to change oil.
