My brother completed his Master's requirements

...in December. I give him A for effort. He worked fulltime through his Associate years...full time through his Bachelor years...and full time through his Master years. He said he is not going to go for a Doctorate...but he will. He will not be able to live with himself if he doesn't...though he probably will take a break. He is an A type personality and pretty much a work-a-holic.

:drinkup to him and those of you that are continuing with your education.

Well...I am retired...but I have more money than he does...at this point in time...but because of his inhieritance...he could retire if he wanted to...but he does not intend to retire until he is 55.

Sounds interesting. Are you going for a Doctorate?

abadfish 01-11-2005 10:15 AM

I don't see the point in spending half of your life in school...

You apparently do not have in mind a career that has academic requirements.

Most people dont get an associate's unless thats all they want. Pretty strange. Sounds like a paper whore.

Many people attend Community College for the first two years of college...for multiple reasons...and transfer to a University...and these two years usually qualifies one for an Associate Degree...so it is SOP and nothing strange about it. No need to thank me for educating you.
