What is this 2257 Notice?
 

Wow, it's 7am in the (Tuesday) morning, here in the UK, havent gone to sleep yet, i have been browsing and reading through GFY since 11pm Monday night, literally 8 hours ..... and im only now realising how little i know about all this....

So please, what is this 2257 Notice? I have read that i would need it on the front page of a freesite and preferably near the bottom of the page....so im guessing its some sort of Adult Content Warning, but please if you could tell me exactly what it is and what it reads, would be great.

its a notice saying that all models are over the age of 18, and you list the content providers including their names and addresses to where the records (ID's, model releases) can be found.

It is a US law. The USA has no jurisdiction over your country, so it is only important to you if your billing company or host are from the US. Of course there are British laws that you have to follow ...
