Help me price out this domain.
I was hoping to turn this into a paysite someday, but someone just emailed me asking if I was interested in selling. What should I ask for it?

Nice name. Got some good searchable keywords in there. How much traffic does it receive (and how much is type-in traffic)?
When it doubt about a sales price, you can always reply to the e-mail saying you will consider reasonable offers. If he really wants the name, he'll make an offer and you can go from there. In the end it's all about what you want from your name. The only thing to be cautious about is if the potential buyer wants you to purchase an appraisal from an online service. This is a popular scam technique. |

I just had my billionth inquiry for a domain today, "odor.com" and it has some type-in traffic and I sold it for $3500, was asking 5K...it comes down to how much money do you need right now! :-))) If you don't need the money, sit on the price but they always ask for a number from the seller...you give it, they counter offer, you counter back....I asked 5K, they offered 3K, I asked for $3500, and they pay all escrow fees, and thats how my selling experiences work.
So we closed the deal in 3 emails and use escrow.com to pay me. |
For your domain, I would ask for $1000.

1000 doesnt sound unrealistic for it.
Could also build it just a bit - and potentially go higher... |
