Would you want to know how long you're going to live?

edited to add - this is a question on the radio today .. doctors and philosophers want to know how people would answer it

No. Well, maybe; but only if the date put me in my 90's or something:upsidedow

i could see doing two things if i knew the date i was going to die.
1. living my life to the fullest...doing what i wanted, when i wanted...knowing that if i put something off, how much time i'd have to do it...blah blah
or
2. just sitting and thinking that i'm going to die day in and day out.

No and I wouldn't want to know when someone else is going to die if I could avoid it either.

I guess it comes down to WHY we'd want to know .. what would we do etc

I know i'd make darn sure I had plenty of insurance and a will dolling it out properly (which I already do so that doesn't help me)
but I think i'd prioritize the 'I want to do before I die' things more than I have so far .. dunno, tough one *sigh*

I dont think I would want to know the exact time but maybe the year so I can make sure all my affairs were in order...but that is a tough one...
