Does EpicCash pay you for your traffic that they redirect ?

Just curious because whenever I click their paysite tour links I go straight to some generic dialer, not even to the niche I'm trying to reach. http://access.rapid-pass.net/

I assume they believe that due to the country I'm surfing from that the people driving the big Benz Kompressors, Jags, private yachts and chartered jets all around me don't have credit cards.

Ya.

NickB. 01-09-2005 07:15 AM

it should be in the terms and conditions an extra income to pay you per trial sign up the amount they do

Adult Site Traffic 01-09-2005 07:31 AM

I'm not concerned with their terms. I was just checking links and wondered.

Yes, but there are also the 300,000 working class here who all bank at the 150 local bank branches and have Visa and Mastercard debit cards and regularly use them at both of the Wal-Marts and Home Depot, Office Max, Costco etc.

This is a place where everything is sold in "12 easy payments" and the people who have computers usually have broadband and also debit cards with which buy porn.

I was just thinking that if I was trying to join a site and got kicked off to some irrelevant dialer because of my location it would kind of piss me off into not joining anything.

andrej_NDC 01-09-2005 07:34 AM

epiccash pays per dialers, yes

Dalai lama 01-09-2005 07:35 AM

Do you work for http://cswcash.com/ ?

No. My wife and I used to own 6 of the sites in that program but I sold them about 3 weeks ago. Coincidence that I just deleted the link from my sig at the moment you were posting this :)

Of course you can. I have credit as well as debit cards and I can use them all online.

A debit card is just a visa or mastercard branded card linked to your checking account, just like an e-pass virtual visa which is not a credit card. It's a debit card to be used online.

No Idea. I have talked to her once in 3 weeks. She lives in US and I don't. Try to hit her on ICQ, she'll probably answer you right when she sees the msg.

well, yes, you need a special debit card for online use, but you cannot buy online with a typical debit card. Even epassporte gives you 2 numbers, you cannot pay online with the electronic debit card, only with the virtual card.

Bullshit.

Almost all check / debit cards are branded Visa or Mastercard. You can use them exactly like a credit card and the funds come out of your checking account. You can use them to rent cars, buy airline tickets, buy recurring memberships, use them for a paypal verification card or use them to load epass right from your bank account.

If I had my entire office set up here I would scan my card and show you the visa logo on it and that it says check debit card.

I really think you are the one that needs to learn what a debit card is.

A debit card will debit only actual money you have in your current/cheque account.

Again "you cannot pay online with a debit card" is one of the stupidest comments I have ever seen on gfy.

Whatever. I'm here to tell you that I own my processing and I have people who use their debit cards (branded visa or mastercard) from all over the world. Israel, Italy, France, US, Canada .. etc. .. etc. ..

I think you're confusing the definition of debit card with the definition of "ATM Only" card .. which is not a branded visa or mastercard.

Just the mere definition of "debit" means it "debits" your account. On or offline.

You are totally wrong. With real bank debit cards you can buy online, offline whatever, it's only with garbage like epassportr, and other "shakey at best" type cards that you have issues buying online or even offline with.

I'm positive he's confusing a visa or mastercard branded checking (or savings) account debit card (which is not a credit card but is used the same way) with an ATM card, which cannot be used online.

Took the words out of my mouth...

ATM CARD = PIN REQUIRED

DEBIT CARD = EITHER RUN AS CREDIT CARD OR ATM CARD...

Yeah looks like that, but he's the one arguing about it, lol - I really don't see how any adult with a bank account making money could confuse them though.

"debit card" means not the same in each country. Its a PIN card here and cannot be used for online payments.

A debit card is a debit card, lol - they work the same in the USA, EU, Asia etc...
Online you give your card#, exp date and the cuv# and payment is made.
Offline you go in to a shop, swipe the card and pay or the newer system is stick the card in a little machine and tap in your pin# and then payment is made.

and debit card means the same thing to any bank anywhere in the world.

Where in the world are you that "debit card" doesn't mean "debit" money from my/your account for whatever it is you are buying?

Yes, A PIN (Personal Identification Number) card would be an ATM card. Not carrying the visa/mastercard logo and used to withdraw cash from the ATM and at POS terminals using a PIN keypad and requiring no signature.

Yep a PIN Card/ATM Card/Cash Card etc... Really can't see what he is having so much trouble understanding.. (PIN Card/ATM Card/Cash Card) are very different from debit cards on the fact that they can only withdraw money not debit it.

Well, as fun and pointless as this thread is, I think I'll go out to the island and rent a golf car, eat fish tacos, get drunk and play dodge-taxi this afternoon.

I think it's best to agree to disagree. In Australia you usually have a basic ATM card linked to your savings account, and/or a credit card which may also have your savings account linked to the card for ATM access only. If you press 'savings' at a merchant terminal you're required to enter a PIN, and the funds come directly from your account; if you press 'credit' then you sign the transaction slip and pay your credit bill when it arrives. :winkwink:

A Visa-style debit card which draws Visa transactions directly from the funds in your savings account is fairly rare, in fact it's only recently that it has been promoted on TV here. I've never seen or heard of a Mastercard debit card here.

Obviously, different parts of the world have different products and use different terminology. :upsidedow

Dragging this back onto topic - the sponsor may redirect to a dialer for reasons beside fraud or the belief that a surfer may not be able to complete a CC signup. For a while a major sponsor was redirecting Australian surfers to a dialer, even though we can't get enough of CC's (the average Australian spends more than they earn...)

The reason? The average payout rate for the dialer was higher for Australian surfers than CC signups.

VIPimp 01-09-2005 04:53 PM

Yes you get credit for the dialer usage.

Let me know if you have anymore q's, contact info in sig...

In the US the true term of a debit card is a card that automaticlly will debit from your account. Can only be used where debit cards are accepted as you have to enter a pin number. Now a Check card is an enchanced debit card usually with VISA that allows you to use it wherever VISA is accepted. I think many of you are using the word debit card to cover check card as well.

Nathan 01-11-2005 06:22 AM

All this naming debate is useless...

Call it what you want. In europe, 90% of the Visa/Mastercard cards are _CREDIT_ cards.

99% of all _DEBIT_ cards in europe are _MAESTRO_ cards, which RIGHT NOW can NOT be used online!

Its useless to discuss stuff between europe and the rest of the world in terms of debit/credit/atm cards... its totally different in europe currently.
