When will TGPs allow links on HTML pages again?
Whatever happened to the good old days of pics on HTML pages? On a recent TGP2 gallery, my clicks to the sponsor were 50% higher because of the clicks from the HTML pages.
Some TGP2 webmasters reporting about 3k/day to new galleries now. CTR is about 10x TGP1 so this is equivalent to 30k in TGP1 with less bandwidth. (I converted another TGP to TGP2 this week. Money's too good) |
Probably around the same time that all the cheatin' bastards of the world disappear.... never.

Prepare for a mass exodus of webmasters from TGP to TGP2. Anyone with a 10k TGP can convert it to TGP2 and make the equivalent money of a 50k-100k TGP. Then the 20k TGPs will follow, then the 30k TGPs. The $$$ will speak louder than the hits. |

You can't make money out of thin air -- if you have all of that traffic going to your sponsor -- dont' be dumb they aren't coming back to the TGP2 to click as many links... now your 10k site is sending out less traffic AND has fewer bookmarkers...
Maybe TGP2 can work if the galleries can justify all the ads. If anyone has some really nice TGP2 galleries *and* has a nice main page site that I can trade with -- let me know and we can hook up a trade and I will post some of your better galleries for several days... how does this main page look? TEEN HOSEBAGS A TGP is a TGP. Make it look good, make sure the surfers want to click, give them some links and slam them to a trade. Only difference between this TGP2 and my TGP sites is the galleries only have 5 pics. Like I give a fuck. When I started doing this, 10 pics of the same model was rare. Now we give 20 series pics on 50% of the galleries. And we make less money per surfer every year. Give me some time to make my TGP2 galleries. I'm doing AVS sites this weekend. Uploading like a mofo today. |

Well all know that the aim of 99% of tgps these days isn't for the webmaster to make money. The odds are stacked against that. The standard "you must have 15 to 20 pics per gallery" has always been too much. |

Damn I have a headache now -- damn tequilla -- but I will get back with all of you people and take a look at your sites... thanks for the warm response and all the emails. This TGP2 stuff sounds like it has some passionate followers ;)
I don't really think the idea is so bad -- it makes sense that quality is way more important than quantity anyway -- I will need to surf more TGP2's to get a better feel for it -- I think if most surfers see a really hot pic -- and they aren't cheap -- they will find out where that pic came from and buy a membership so they can get the whole photo set or all the pics of that model... and I base that estimation off of emails that I get about particular pics that I have posted on my site... Well it makes sense... guys by memberships because of the girls -- not how many pics -- DUH! If they are too cheap to buy -- I think a few pics per gallery is enough to beat off to... maybe it will even generate more clicks of output because the surfers will keep wanting more and more -- so they will sample more girls and more galleries -- keep 'em surfing -- I think Steve said that once to me -- the name of the game is *surfing* -- don't try to hoard all the surfers to yourself... Shit I was just surfing a TGP2 and I found an Aria gallery -- my friend likes Aria -- I just ICQ'd him the URL! TGP2 is not so bad. I feel like I've been reborn. Hhaha! My thinking was that a TGP2 would fail because of lack of content -- well that seems just wrong because look at how many sites there are that live off of massive amounts of totally blind traffic... Look at how successful a site like Thumbraider.com is -- it's all blind links and CJ script. It's nutty. My rules have always been that I will link your site if you have a *few* good quality pics... I link to a lot of amateur sites -- and they're all pretty creative with their web design. Each "real" amateur site has its own personality... It would be wrong for me to say to one of these babes -- "hey well I won't link to you unless you make this table and you need 20 pics and the resolution has to be blah blah" -- fuck that -- if the babe is hot -- I will link her -- if she doesn't give me a boner than sorry -- no link. I don't care how many pics you have -- as long as there are at least a few free pics that are full size that don't suck ass. Anyway I kindof got that strategy from Shap of Picwarehouse -- I'm not sure if it helped me any but I have stuck to that general way of thinking for this long... Basically he said that he would rather send traffic to a quality site because that improves the value of his site... So when you link to shit you're only hurting your own site... on the other hand if you don't give a damn about the surfer ever coming back -- I guess that is another strategy... but the bottom line is just hot babes... Well the only way now days is to "buy" a TGP spot say for a month and the TGP will let you use html pages.. hope that helps as that is the only way i see it now.
