Yes and wouldn't it be fun to watch the look on guys faces as you blast them off the line with that classic :) I would have a lot of fun with that.

The other sled in that one pic of mine is a 98 Thunder Cat 1000. Built and tweaked to 192 HP. Way to heavy for long rides on the trails (get sore as hell with throttle thumb to boot) but on the straight aways watch out. It will lift the skis the entire 1/4 mile if you let it.

To bad you didnt live closer we would have a blast.

Baxter 01-07-2005 02:14 PM

I tell you that old ass, no suspension, need a kidney belt, rattle your teeth loose SRX will put a serious hurtin on alot of guys ego's with 700-900cc sleds from a dead stop if the studs hook up. Other than that you need to baby that motherfucker on trails or risk losing a kidney by time you get home :1orglaugh New sleds ride like my Lincoln Towncar, I love that aspect. But down and dirty vintage race sleds are my thing.

My other restored yammie

Veterans Day that is bad ass. Every once in a while out here you see a guy with a vintage sled eating up the kids at the air strips. One of these days I will have to get one just to have fun with.

Kidney busting buck boards :)

Thanks to the others that had nice things to say about my new ride. Its appreciated. Send some snow my way.

pornguy 01-07-2005 04:28 PM

WNY. I hover between Rochester NY and Niagra Falls NY. Been out twice this year but as you can see from the pics just a dusting and frozen now.

Supposed to be in the 50s early this week then back down for the weekend.

Yea thats what the ATVs are for though. Worst case scenerio they are still good fun in the winter. I want to trade one in for the new polaris sportsman 800 twin. Fast and work friendly.

Never keep all the eggs in one basket when it comes to recreation.

I already have a Thunder Cat 1000 worked over. Don't need another dragster :)

I do like the looks of them though. Sleazy has one.
