I've figured out how to make Pennywize work the most efficiently.
 

Set your subnet threshold to 7 and set your byte download limit a little bit over what your most bandwidth hogging "legit" member downloaded at his highest peak and make sure that your blocked page notifies AOL users to contact the webmaster if he is having a problem and to then continue to surf my members section with another browser.

I've had no pissed off customers email me for a week now and If I had set my byte download threshold earlier, it would have caught the one person who was actually trading the password.

That, along with only allowing credit cards as payment seems to have solved my password trading and software problems for now.
