Blackberry, OQO.com or other alternatives

I am looking into getting one of these and the main thing I want to be able to do is have outlook and view html e-mails.

Can you do this with a Blackberry or are they text based?

OQO looks great but it is $2k

Any other options?

One more try

BlackBerry can sync with OutLook but it isn't running OutLook itself, it's textbased as far as I know.

I'm looking at the Siemens SK65 currently

Looks interesting. Is it made for the US market? Any idea on price?

Go with the Blackberry, the OQO is a great idea, but too damn expensive, and just try looking at your entire XP desktop on a 3 x 5 card.

If you go with the Nextel Blackberry solution, you can SSH without the Blackberry Enterprise Server as Nextel has a sweet TCP/IP stack. :thumbsup

no idea if it will appear on the US market, but since it's Blackberry I would think so. It's just coming out here in Europe in a few months. Est. price here is about ?600 (without any contract). Mostly in the US electronics are cheaper btw. We always get fucked :disgust

This is what you want right here. I've had the older model for about 2 months now and have my eye on this one right now.

As you probably already know I am a Treo supporter but that Motorola MPx with the wi-fi might replace my treo soon. That thing is HOT!

My brother in law just got the Treo 650.

He's really happy with it, I've just never beed a fan of the Palm OS.

I know someone that has a blackberry, and he loves it. but i have never seen it working.

Apple needs some sort of little iPhone or something like that.

If they think they've got a hit with the iPod...this would be nuts.

Anyone used the new Sidekick 2?

I wouldn't touch TMobile, but my girl has another year on her contract and wants one of these.

Got one. Love it and never leave home without it. I have a palm too but the mini keyboard is nice for writing longer emails when I'm out.

Once you use a touchscreen for the phone you can't use anything else. I have a Blackberry for business that is collecting dust because it can't compare.

I barely use all my 2500 minutes + free nights, weekends & sprint to sprint. I'll never touch my Blackerry! I'm glad I'm not the one paying for it.

they are already cooperating with Motorola to get iTunes to mobile phones and rumours are an iPhone isn't too far away either.

Although it's just rumours for now
