absolutely astonishing, the generosity of them and the thai people. I very much doubt that people would be only taking what they needed for the day in the britain if a disaster hit

hershie 01-07-2005 06:55 AM

Very impressive :thumbsup

Defiance 01-07-2005 07:05 AM

That's awesome.

So many people talk of wanting to go there and do something, or wishing they had money to give, but it's good to see someone actually have that in their heart, and go do it.

DomBuyer 01-07-2005 07:10 AM

Wow. Great work. Just made my day.

xclusive 01-07-2005 07:32 AM

great read and great pics and great work from you

fusionx 01-07-2005 07:48 AM

I just read every word.

I've been watching this on CNN, other news channels, and of course the web, but nothing has touched me as deeply as this. It really brought it home, you could say. When Robb mentioned the map, and that this was only one small place, it made it clear how devastating this event truly was.

It amazes me how resiliant people can be. I've been to those areas and I know a few Thai people. I always knew they were strong and had incredible spirit.

Thanks to people like Robb and Som, and the many relief workers, such as those depicted in Robb's accounting, the people affected by this have a better chance at recovering from this disaster. Thanks to those who donated - it's your graciousness that allows people like Robb to do what they do.

I've got two tears in my eyes. One out of sorrow for those who lost so, so much, and one of admiration and respect for the selfless, truly altruistic actions of the people that are helping those in need. I am truly moved by this.
