i doubt mac users would bite in to something like that, everyone knows that a you can just menu -> reset safari and it's all good again

Thanks for adding your expertise but a site I built has pulled 12 emails today ALONE requesting a program that kills history type stuff.

Wtf do you mean "everyone knows"? If "everyone knew" the shit I know I wouldn't be in business, and I know very little...

If there is a program, now would be a good time to let me sign up under your referal link people!

Wolfy 01-06-2005 10:16 PM

Have you looked at Netshred?

I haven't used it yet, so I can't vouch for it, I use PGP for secure deletion of files, but I dunno if they have an affiliate program other than selling it from Amazon.

All kinds of "Evidence Shredder" programs should just disappear. I can't come up with a single program that has done as much damage to us as that.

Out of curiousity - what's your reasoning on this statement? Not saying yay or nay, I just would like to hear your opinion.

How wise is it to teach surfers that cookies and other things that track them are BAD and should be turned off?
Most sponsors that we get paid from use cookies. If cookies are turned off = you don't get a piece of the pie, the sponsor gets the whole pie.

That is the reason I want to make my own paysite a little later on to see how much is really not being tracked.

fair enough, good thoughts.
