A lot of rumors these days
 

Here are the rumors:

1: AaronM is banned
2: AaronM is a cyber squatter
3: AaronM accused several people of hacking
4: AaronM wants to be famous

Here are the facts:

1: A banned person can not start a new post

2: I have done nothing of the sort. Where is your proof?

3: I NEVER publicly accused anybody of hacking. RedShoe posted his concern in public and I have privately AND publicly stated that there may be another explanation. FYI, the computer name of the would be hacker was Redshoe. Now anybody can name there computer anything they want so this is not proof enough. The ip address is from the same provider that RedShoe uses. The MAC address is the very same as RedShoe?s. I am still giving him the benefit of the doubt. The only other thing I mentioned about this is that Soul Rebels machine had also tried to access my server. There could be a mistake in the logs about this machine though due to the type of hack attempt that was logged.

4: I do not wish to be famous. I wish to make money and help others do the same.

One final note, Candy.... I do not know you and you certainly do not know me. I would appreciate it if you would reserve judgment for those that you know something about. Until you know the real facts, you are simply being prejudice. (Pre-Judging) So we can avoid a debate on the word. It is not always about race.

Seriously now, I talked with AaronM and he told me about an attack he got from a computer name soulreb. I don't have reasons not to believe him. My computer name is different and i'll send him the info when he gets back online. But for the guy that used my nickname to cover his identity i'll tell him nice try. GFY

The biggest misconception about Mr. Mitnik is that he was a hacker.
He was a phone phreaker not a kernel kaptin.

He did his time. Has he not paid his debt to society? 5 years for phone
phreaking? The .gov was piss'd b/c they couldn't catch him for so long.

everything else ya said was true but he was not only a phreaker, but was also a hacker.. some of his exploites are still used today, i know i used to play withthem.. he isnt th best programmer in the world and that makes some people say he wasnt a real hacker, but sir.. he has done some awsome things with source code.. ask oki.. lol but he was a hacker, by his own admitance.. freekevin.com is a great site it has allowed me to relay messages to kevin for a while and also recieve them.. using them kinda like a proxy.. but yes he was wrongly accused, he is also one of the best hackers and phreakers i have ever had the opertunity to talk to.. and if anyone wants to talk about phreaking or hacking.. in the security since ot in a unlawfull manner you can hit me up on icq or email..

Yea, with notebooks and cellular connections it's going to be pretty

He got out in Jan.2001 and there is still no autobiography out. I'm
surprised no publisher has offered him a co-writer and capitalized

I think the last O/S Kevin saw was Windows For Workgroups. He
has some catching up to do.

if i remember well, he stayed in prison without any trial for a long time, which is unacceptable. Law in his situation didn't follow the usual process.
