Kelly, my grandma is the same exact way, she is super-talented and has like 100's of paintings all over all the family members' houses.

I have been doing the same thing trying to motivate her to go do somehting with them, I had an idea to build her an online gallery and sell prints on it, maybe we could get together on that...

I am nowhere near the artistic level of her but I have studied a little and can say she has a firm grasp of things - everything is in proper proportion (typical mistake is the head is usually too large or too small) but from what I have seen she is bang on.

She did at one time before I did design etc , and got taken to the cleaners by the web designer hosting etc , so I think shes afraid it will be like that again .

BUT .. I can get pretty much everything she would need this time around for free , build the site and market it for her

One important point for you and your mom to consider is, I would imagine she enjoys doing this but if you start to involve biz and money it might not be so fun so be careful of that more than anything. Happiness is more valuable than money.

Shes got enough stockpiled to open her own gallery , but its " never good enough " which is just another artist quality , you never think your stuff is " good enough " Only others do .
