how can I find out where a domain was registered?
 

is there anyway to find out where a domain name was registered (Register.com, Network Solutions, etc)?

You can find out the Registrar by doing a Whois search with any of them.

and how I do that? can you help me with this? I'll appreciate it a LOT

2. Type in the domain in question into the search-like box at the top of the page.
3. Make sure the radial dot next to 'Who is' is colored in.
4. Press "search"
