    The disdain, money, and fervor -- when while over 1MIL Africans were being exterminated in the last decade?

    IMHO ... I agree!
    It is truly sad, as well very embarrassing for humanity and more so the League of Nations ... oops ... United Nations - thousands of Africans died in the background while armed 'peacekeepers' sat on the phone waiting for authorization.

    I believe the reason the Tsunami is more 'popular' is that it is an act of nature.

    I am by no means trying to diminish what has happened, merely agreeing with the unfairness.
