How long does it usually take for a domain to drop.

I found a good one with over 2.5k backliks, an alexa traffic ranking of xx,xxx
and very bandable. If the whois says pending-delete, how long do i have to wait.

Could be 1 to 3 months

Sure...they get notification that their domain is going to expire soon(1 to 3 months) and they just wait for people like you waiting in the background...and renew the last day :upsidedow

No if it says that it is expiring on 01-05-2004 for example. What time during the day will it expire. or is it midnight exactly.

I cant wait.... :)

depens on registrar, PENDING-DELETE usually takes 5 days, then the domain gets deleted from DNS.

if the domain is worth it, chances are someone backordered it though...

I'm waiting on one that has been in "redemption period" for 2 months. ICANN needs to do something about that.

Now it seems the nice ones that drop through NetworkSolutions get 'shopped out' before they ever drop. :(
