bdld 01-04-2005 01:38 PM

jacked 01-04-2005 01:40 PM

post your url.6 weeks is a long time not to be indexed or crawled by google even without links.I suspect a expired domain ban

Cyndalie 01-04-2005 01:49 PM

I submitted a new URL last week. It's indexed.
Must be a guy thing. Maybe google is sexist. :winkwink:

No, its probably because you are the only one to submit a url to google , other ppl wait for googlebot and are patient ;)

oksgorce 01-04-2005 02:36 PM

tnx, so i will be patient :)...

swami 01-04-2005 03:24 PM

mate you are silly.Post your url.its probably an expired domain and has a penalty attached to it

Babagirls 01-04-2005 03:27 PM

took 5-6 months for my mainstream site to get picked up by google...just be patient.

swami 01-04-2005 03:32 PM

Look there are so many ways for google to find a new site. From the domain registrars records to someone having googles toolbar installed and visiting the site to following links. If the site has not been indexed within a month something is wrong. Now remember indexing is different than getting good places in their search engine results.

I have a site that has been up for 4 months and google still wont index it. Has in bound links and is listed on Yahoo and MSN.. But google just won't list it for some reason.

Then I have a few sites I put up a month ago and 2 of them are now PR3's and the rest are PR2's from this last update. All the domains were bought from drop lists so and are not new URL's, so who the hell knows what google does.

It must be banned... Thats an awful long time , unless you have no other sites linking to you.

My new domain are picked up in a week by google every time.

Don't worry about it. I had the same thing happen to me. All I did was go to the Add URL in google and request it again. Within 2 days they had indexed it.
