I could use some help...PLEASE!

I just signed up with a new host about a week ago I found here on the board.
Everything was working out fine until yesterday.

I noticed the movie clips on my site started opening really slowly,
as if the site was busy all the time.

Since I just reopened the site, I have only 25 members. Not enough
to slow a site down.

I contacted my host and they tell me there's no problem on their end.

The funny thing is when I place the same movie clip on 3 other servers,
they open with no problems.

I placed a 2 minute [11mb] clip, on my current host and one on another.
Can you guys at least test the first link to tell me if it loads
for you in a reasonable time.

By the way, I am using broadband cable, so it only takes seconds to open these
clips.

Is it time to find a "NEW" host already?

I have about 80 domain names I want to develope sooner or later, but I need a reliable host.

The first link was slow for me. I am on cable and tried to download but it only made it up to 65KB sec and and goes down to like 50KB sec.

Based in Europe, DSL connection, and it's painfully slow here.

First link = nothing
Second link = 265kbps

first link is definately slower.

The first clip came in at 50-75kbs and the second SMOKED in at 650kbs.

Man our town has a lightning connection. :upsidedow

I'm using comcast. Not sure if you are using the same company, but it's crazy.

My host thinks it's a problem with the router between my isp and their servers.
I'll just wait for a few more replies before making any decision.

If it was a routing problem between the router and your ISP the rest of us wouldnt have the same problem that you see.

Didn't make sense to me either.

I plan to forward this thread to my host and see what he has to say about it.

Spam me with host guys if you want too.
