Check also DeletedDomains :thumbsup I used to have a big bash script in contrab with domains I would like to have, each hour it was doing basic whois to it then send me the results on my email address...

DeletedDomains is free, for 2 whois/check per hour, not that bad.. :2 cents:

directnic.com has a good one with great search tools, you have to register but its free.

www.deleteddomains.com works for me sometimes
