spent all fucken night in jail last night...
 

i was at this bar in alameda last night...shit was crackin. rich gannon and marques tuiasasopo from the raiders were there...i bought gannon a drink, all my old friends from high school were there...just having a great night. so it's like 1:30 and i decide i'm gonna walk home...next thing i know i'm all cuffed up gettin thrown around by these prick cops. i dont even remember doing anything wrong. you shoulda seen the way these guys treated me at the station and shit i know a bunch of rights were getting violated. i had to bang on the cell door and yell for like 2 hours before they would even give me a phone call. now i understand why they get away with that shit...they prey on drunk people cuz they know they can get away with treating them like shit. i cant even clearly remember the night so it's not like i can make a case out of it. fucked up shit man...went in at like 2 they didnt let me out til 8:30 in the damn morning. great way to start the new years fuck this shit...

that must had sucked, not a great place to sleep at.

they werent in jail too...i was the only one...

thats the fucked up thing...there were no official charges...no rights getting read...none of that shit...just throwin me around into a cell. but the weird thing is even though there were no official bookings or whatever...they still took all my prints in the morning and a photo...

where I live they can toss you in the "drunk tank" for the night with no official charges...they just want you to sober up before you do something REALLY stupid

Sounds like you were a threat to public or yourself, so they picked you up and kept you all night till you sobered up. They "OR'd" you.... released you on your "own recognicense".

They should have still read you your rights.

I go there once every couple weeks with an old friend....amazing how many names that place has had over the years lol..

jail sucks, they keep the temperature so you're not freezing... but if u fall asleep will wake up every 5 minutes

Do you have booking slip? If not then you have two options. File a false arrest suit or be thankful you're still not in jail. I would let it go as a lesson learned. Also, they can still file a charge up to a year later... so let it go.

Just be glad you weren't sobre when going there :-\ I sat in the county for 4 days got out on Christmas Eve. seems like forever..

Secondly, if they did not question you about a crime, then they do not have to read you your rights.
