OK this can't be it... I wake, walk into the bathroom and wanted to take a shower until I noticed that there is no shower gel in there... I'm like :eek7
What kind of hotel in that prize range doesn't have some sort of showering gel in their rooms... So I need get down to freaking buy something
Now I'm done showering and pick up a towel and notice that it's completely dirty and has black and brown spots over it...

So I get done, get myself a coffee and walk up to the convention center to pick up my badge... then this 99 black yo security bitch tells me she won't let me in because I'm no exhibitor.. I explained to her that this has to be a mistake because in the past years you could always pick up your badge the day before the show and that I didn't arrive a day earlier to stand and wait in line at the day of the show.
She's like: "I don't know... please leave".

Last year at the Borgata in Atlantic City we found dirty towels in the bathroom (about 3 or 4 of them). When we called to complain they comped us that night :) Always worth trying.

Called the housekeeping and told them about that... she said she would take care of it...
we'll see

Yes, they are. Just let them know. Call the managers office. I stayed there once and had a loud room next to mine. I called and complained and the comped my night and gave us dinner for two for the week. All you have to do is ask and be polite.

if the guy in housekeeping or the front desk pick up a phone and get someone swearing, yelling, etc. they now don't give a fuck if you get service or not.
If you call them and explain the problem and say things like "I just got here after a long flight" or "I'm wanting to go down and use the spa" they'll be more receptive and act quicker to get your problem solved. Let them know you're there to spend money and they'll take better care of you.

no matter how much your hotel costs they should give you clean towels and cum-free sheets, in my opinion. :2 cents:

Housekeeping would be able to replace the towels, but won't have the power to comp your room. I'd call the front desk & ask for a manager, as well. At the very least you deserve a free breakfast.

definatly agree with the posts in this thread. call managment and see what THEY can do for YOU now lol no gel & dirty towels is unacceptable for ANY hotel.

Well.. I called the management and told them... they then sent a girl over and she changed the towels while I was away... but guess what

I still don't have shampoo lol
but I do have 5 new soap pieces... isn't that nice?

My friend burt the fuck out of her leg on the room service cart and was comped like 7 free nights there. They need to get their shit together aparantly.

I used to run a Major Hotel in SF, the sheets get changed as for the rest... well good luck, maybe once a year or around an inspection time....

I don't know if I should tell you all this or not,,,,,,,,,,,,what the hell?? we had an inspection (mind you 4 star hotel) they found Cum residue on Curtains, Carpets, Mattress, blanckets, the extra pillow and blankets in the closets, chairs, sofas, TV, remote

Whatever you do never lay down on a comforter at a hotel. They don't get cleaned as much as the sheets.

First thing my girl does when we get a room is take off the comforter. I saw this special on tv once where the whole thing was covered in cum .. absolutely gross! :mad:

I do the same thing is i'm going to stay anywhere for more than a few days i'll go buy a blanket and either ship it home or donate it somewhere...

Never ever call the people down on the ladder. Call the head of management or close to that and tell them your problem. Just calling housekeeping will get you clean sheets and nothing else.

That's not my experience with Mandalay Bay. Just let them know you're not happy and what's been going on. Maybe you'll get something out of it - most hotels are happy to offer discounts, freebies to unhappy guests.

Well... they really earned a pissed and unhappy customer in me... I just got up and slept horrible.
this is not due to their beds or whatever... this is due to the punks in the room next to mine that thought it would be cool to shout and scream all night long. What are those walls made of? paper?

ive missed out on vegas this year. but was at the last show in maimi and i have been to many aoe shows and other adult shows in euroland.
i've found that many hotels just dont like us!
they talk down to u! and stare alot and are very arsie about smoking.
i this we had the best idea, during the lisbon show we hired a villa just outside of lisbon. it was fuck great!!
local shops where great, cheap beer and food. swimming pool, beach 5mins away.

I just got a hotel in South Carolina on the way driving down to Florida..all I can say is fucking nasty. The first hotel they gave us, the fridge had mildew in it, the bottom of the bathroom door and the toilet still had piss stains on them. Thank god we got a new room, took us a bit but they had the maids go over the new room and clean everything again.

Damn that really sucks!!! Never go there again :mad:

One more reason to pay for the hotel cash. That way you can take all of the towels the robe, and the lamps if you want, and they can not charge it to a card. Ahh hell while you are at it, put the matress and the bed out on the balcony.

Some of these stories are flat out disgusting. The worst I've ever seen was in Key West our hotel room was COVERED in bugs, this airy winged things were EVERYWHERE. Think someone left the lights on and the windows open. Eicyh
