what does it cost to ship a $50 000 car from the USA to EUROPE
50 000 dollars is only 37 000 euros, so a $50K car becomes VERY cheap for me :)
anyone know something about the shipping costs and possible import taxes ? ? any help appreciated |
it will cost you $4,957 Canadian dollars to ship it from Euro to the good ol' USA
Not sure but here is a helpful link for you http://www.movecars.com/
I dunno but I'd love to have my ZO6 over there on the German Autobahn, that would be a sweet expeience.
Around $3-5k usually. :pimp
I have heard some time ago about a company doing it for 2k$
hmm ya that is very interesting...

2k$ sounds good, , thats only an additional 1500 euros, got any links for that ? |
Quote:
thanks for the link :thumbsup but sadly they dont ship to europe but only throughout US and Canada :( |
BMWs are fucking cheap in US now, 50% cheaper than here, Im sure even more cheap than in NL
You would need to pay crazy import taxes on it.
I've heard about $1500.
But I don't have a link for that. |

Now I don't have a clue about which one of those is good/bad .. |
I have no idea. But with the dollar being so low, I see a business there.
you are looking at like 40% import taxes on the value that they assess it, no point importing
No, you are looking at paying VAT, which is anywhere between 16 and 25 percent in EU.
yeah, I'm thinking about this possibility too. Esp. the new Mustag GT would be very cheap here. But read a test about the GT and it's still a cheap car...
I'm looking to buy a SL 500...should be cheaper too. Does anybody selling a SL 500? :) |
I actually found a frieght company a while ago that was going to ship a car from Italy
at around $800-900. If you dont find a good mover, let me know I will try to find the company I was dealing with. |
I'm also searching a big car portal....searched google with "buy cars", which pulled out only shitty links.

that would suck ! think I am just going to rent a container and but on the cargo letter it has coffee beans :) only bad thing is I will have a car that smells like coffee for a couple of months ! :1orglaugh |

Trust me, you don't really wanna go cheapest on this one. :2 cents:

discount. |
I sent a Jeep cherooke a couple years ago (7 or so) for about 6K$CAD to Costa Rica... So If it didnt change, I say 10K or so :2 cents:
around 4k...I know
Overnight, priority or ground?
:stoned |
Dunno, it'd cost like $150k to import it to finland. Yay, for finnish import restrictions.
plus a shitload of taxes lemme get a url for a complete calc youre dutch right?
Quote:
yeah dutch , is there any way of not paying taxes ? and just import it as something else ? :Oh crap |
Quote:
according to this I would have to pay 9068 euros on a 37 000 euro car so that would be 37 000 >> car 9 068 >> tax 3 000 >> minimum for shipping --------- 49 068 euro to get a $50k car legally here ! that sucks !! ! god I hate import tax  |

Cause you would need to register the car in order to drive it. And to register it, you need the import docs. You can import it as spare parts - taxes should be cheaper, but you would need to take the motor out and dismantle some other stuff. |

import the car from Germany instead...will be cheaper
import taxes suck. If you don't find a way of getting around them, the car will cost a lot
