Exploits appearing on my web pages???
These two exploits keep appearing outside of my HTML tags and it's screwing my sites up. Anyone know about these and how they're exploiting my system.

Hit smokey the bear up. He seems to be really good with this stuff.

Just make sure your system has all the updates. Also check for spyware on your system.

It's forcing people to install ActiveX modules. It's annoying as fuck. The Splat Search spider indexes the shit out of my pages (890 hits in the past 2 weeks).

His sites are doing it. So his system has nothing to do with it. There is a lot of this going on. The Hun was hit last week with similar activity. |
Make sure your site doesn't downlaod any malware.

Smokey ICQ'd me and helped me resolve the issue. It had to do with my phpbb I had installed.
Thanks for the help, Smokey! :thumbsup |
There is a wicked new piece of malware right now that directs those infected to the girlsforgames.com site and to a site to buy a spyware remover. It also give false windows security alerts and seems to send a log of sites visited to the perpetrator.
I was upset to find that one of my patched up SP2 XP machines had picked this up last night. I had thought SP2 was supposed to prevent this sort of thing. |
which version of phpbb were you using that had the hole?
