Just put your original into your xbox, plug your xbox into your router, and ftp to your xbox's address. Copy the contents of your disc, and make an ISO.

You're going to need a mod chip to run the backups so you might as well invest in one, put a new HD in and just backup the games to the HD... they load faster as well

unfortunately if you are using a windows box you will have a very difficult time reading the disk.

I think the best answer would be to just download copies or mod your xbox and put dvd2xbox on it. copy it to the xbox, ftp in and download it to your pc then burn it to blank dvd media. You will have to check out xbox-scene on how to burn it properly so your xbox can read it though.
