Well he did not LOOSE it.
He still got it..but cant connect..and I thought it might be something to do with that hack.

Or maby the server his uin is located on is down.

My ICQ number was hacked a few days ago... password was changed, nick was changed, etc... I've contacted ICQ twice and they told me to try the password retrieval service... but that didn't work. Took them a week just to send me that prescripted reply... I want my old number back! The fucker that did it changed my nick to "inetgirls.by.ru" and there is like 20 other uins witht he same nick.

Or he did at least...and he can still load the contact list so he must have the same password still right?

Probably some sort of temp ban, when weird activity hits a UIN.
Not sure though.

You should connect to it from your box, and see what happens?

What is the Error Code he gets? Is it Error 0406????

if so thats a common problem... tell him to uninstall and then delete all icq files, then reinstall and try again..

Well no he dont get any error I think.
But as soon as his icq start up he get the yellow flower.
And then it just try and connect....and nothing more.
He had this for a few days now...but maby its just a server issue?
But its like the icq dont get any connection at all at ones.

close icq. wait at least 2 hours, and try the webicq thing from the icq site, and see what it does

I had the icq number I had had for nearly five years stolen last year. In the end I just had to swallow it and start again. I might just cry now if I think about it too much.
