something about peer2peer networks that boggles me

how come there is so many damn CP shares on it? I mean come on, aren't child protection agencies watching this shit?

Saw a result using shareaza that was cp related and the list of sharing users on that file was insane. Every cp result tends to be the same group of people as well. You'd think that these fuckers would be nabbed by now.

part of me thought, well, maybe it's a sting operation, but then looking at the available bandwidth they have tells me most are on dialup accounts.

What do you guys think? Are the authorities actually watching the p2p networks or are they after bigger fish to fry?

personally i think these are the guys they should be going after, they are the ones sharing with god knows how many people around the world.

They should. I dont see how a guy sharing a metalica song is a bigger priority.
