Individual business owners - LLC, S or Corp ?

Have to register this year, am looking at doing it through http://www.bizfilings.com

As an individual with no partners, which did you choose and why?

Actually, I should say with no directors, officers or shareholders.

Like I said, an individual.

I am confused about the whole "having a meeting" process - how're you supposed to have a meeting by yourself and configure your organizational structure when you're the only decision-maker?

That's very interesting, thank you.

Only prob is the added red tape on filing taxes in my own state if I register across state lines.

lol... administrative problems. I don't post 300+ times a day obviously. Planning on speaking with Eric once the holidays/internext are over with.

Anyway, back to the topic...

We are an S corp. It works well. In most states you can do it online now with the state site.

You can do a single member LLC. You would be the LLC's manager.

One person can form an S corporation, while in a few states at least two people are required to form an LLC.
