My gf, her family and I were in a car crash 2 nights ago ((PICS))
 

This is just copied from one of the reports I had to give:


My girlfriend Jenni, her mom, little brother, uncle and myself in a car crash 12/30/04 9:10pm. We are all ok, just a little shook up and we are all feeling pretty sore. All of us were wearing seat belts.
I have the marks to prove that. :)

We were in Jenni's mom's car, a newer Pontiac Grand Am. We were crossing Wadsworth at 92nd and had a green light going westbound a 17 year old kid in a 1980's Ford Bronco hit us on the front corner
of the passenger side. It sent us spinning about 3
times until we were facing the wrong way. It seems he
was talking to his friend in the seat next to him and
didn't notice the red light that he had for about 3 minutes
and was flying 50mph until he hit us.

Luckily there was a cop in a police car that witnessed
the whole thing. And said he didn't even try to slow
down until he made contact with us. I am really pissed
that all he got is a $215 ticket when it could have
been fatal for Jenni's uncle in the front passenger
seat. He should have got a ticket for wreak-less endangerment as well!

It all happened so fast, all I can remember is the
loud bang and spinning around what seemed to be
forever. I am glad we all made it out okay though, it
could have been worse. The driver's friend was taken
to the hospital for a possible broken wrist. Jenni's
mom who was driving is very shook up, she did all that she
could to avoid it, Geoff, Jenni's little brother just got a scratch on his finger, he was in between Jenni and I.

I am just glad we all made it out ok. It could have been much worse.

don't worry, as much as his insurance will go up, he'll pay plenty.

I went and talked to the kid after... He showed no remorse. I really felt like I was going to hit him, my gf's uncle came over to calm me down some.

Thank god he has insurance. We are all going to the doctor monday, that way if we feel any pain later his insurance will still have to pay for it. My shoulder is killing me but I guess the seatbelt did its job.

I will still be goin to Vegas. :winkwink:

expect some of you to be hurting today or tomorrow. Soft tissue injuries work that way.

I had a friend who was ran over at a red light in Florida..he was on a motorcycle, the kid was in a beat up old truck.. the kid didnt have insurance.

my friend , after a year is still going through surgeries for a broken leg in 5 places, bone infections and almost losing his leg for hte second time in his life..punk ass fuck got community service and some fines. Kids should stick their bicycles if they cant drive.

I have been in a similar accident. The pain may not start for several days, but you will fell it. My advice is to NOT try to be a man and shake it off. I did that was later wished I would have complained because I had to pay out of my own pocket for chiro.

I'm glad everyone was able to walk away from it. It looks like if the accident had happened just a moment later, that may have not been the case.

I had a kid fuckup on the freeway in San Diego before I left, bounced himself off the inner wall and screamed across the lanes, right into my Maz.

When the CHP showed up and went through everything, the kid, the cop and myself were standing there. The cop wrote him a ticket. I asked the cop, "Is that all that he gets?" CHP officer said, "It's all I can give him."

I turned around and beat the living shit outta the kid, right in front of the officer. He did noting to stop me. Then, I turned to the cop and said, "Give me one, too."

Cop just smiled and walked away, shaking his head.

Sometimes, cops can be so damned understanding.

Wow, you are all very lucky. At that rate of speed he could have killed everyone. I agree with you too...he should get more than a $200 ticket. He needs to learn a hard lesson

We were all young and stupid once..and we all drove a little crazy at times too..soo be thankfull nobody got hurt...your girls ugly ol pink pontiac got tottalled and she can get somthing a bit more classy and you might get a few grand from walking aroind with a neckbrace for a few weeks...all said and done..not a bad deal :)
