Shoplifter 12-31-2004 10:34 PM

Hmmmm I'm no lawyer but some of the filing dates do not look recent.

Magg 12-31-2004 10:36 PM

What are you talking about? No filing date is older than 2 months, if youre looking at the 4/28/04 date, thats the incident date.

Alexander D Great 12-31-2004 10:56 PM

i think it was about time.. However i'm not sure if this will trigger any more non-payments or further delay of the payments..? as usually in such cases you either get your money right away or it takes a looooong time....

I've been drinking and yes you are right. The 4/28/04 date is probably the contract incept date.

One of the filings seems to be by Scorecash.

The Other Steve 01-01-2005 01:52 AM

I saw a post in another place that they lost their trademark as of December 18.

Webby 01-01-2005 02:27 AM

Here is some more court entries - some are meaningful - others old shit...

Feed in "Internet Billing Company" and also try "iBill" or any of their associates/past owners/bankers such as First Data....

There is more than this dated recently, but some of it is not showing yet.

nojob 01-01-2005 10:50 AM

how hard is it to stay in business? Not like they dont make enough from everyone.

xclusive 01-01-2005 10:52 AM

This is just the start...

Lionheart 01-01-2005 10:52 AM

I'm glad they kicked Canadians out when they did hahahaha......I am so happy with CCBILL. Course we had to incorporate in the USA. But that's not the point......wer ooooot........of IBILL that is.

J.R. 01-01-2005 11:04 AM

I was thinking of filing on them as well.

If I am not mistaken, I can sue them from my own city in WA. since
technically this is where the biz. takes place ?

I am going to chat with my attorney next week.

dano 01-01-2005 12:18 PM

Wow. I had no idea this was going on with IBILL. I just logged in and realized they owe me a lot of dough. I see they're giving clients the option to be "repaid with 6% interest over an extended period." What the? What exactly is an extended period of time and what good will that do me if they're going out of business next month. I just spoke to an IBILL rep who said their merchant bank, First Data, wasn't paying them, so essentially, Ibill's not paying us. She added that they should have more information by the end of next week. I'm wondering how long this has been going on and if this "we'll have more information for you shortly" business might be bs that they've been telling everone for a while.

DutchTeenCash 01-01-2005 12:25 PM

soooooooooooooo glad we left ibill yrs ago

Oliver Klozov 01-01-2005 12:29 PM

What do you think the odds are that IBILL won't even be at the show?

Might just be an empty booth.

What employee what agree to work this show knowing the shit storm their going to face. Talk about danger pay!!

I've been saying it for 3 years now "Fuck IBILL"

you spoke to an ibill rep on a saturday? new years day? gimmie a break. not siding with ibill here, but the odds you actually spoke with someone at that company today are 1 in a billion. the whole staff has been on holiday since before christmas.

mardigras 01-01-2005 01:09 PM

The couple sites I wanted to promote that used iBill I had trouble with promo links so gave up on them. It put me off on signing up with other iBill sites. CCBill is awkwards at times but at least if a program webmaster dots his I's and crosses his T's you can get to everything you need:)

pornguy 01-01-2005 01:10 PM

In some cases you dont get your money at all. We never did with website billing.

JFK 01-01-2005 01:31 PM

sig placement :pimp

TheFrog 01-01-2005 01:32 PM

i was expecting this to happen sooner or later

Pleasurepays 01-01-2005 01:41 PM

To all those people 6 months or so ago who were attacking me for saying that anyone doing business with Ibill was just going to get fucked in the end... FUCK YOU.

Anyone who has been around in the beginning can tell you how Ibill made its money and it wasn't from being the shining example of morals and ethics.

How many times does a company have to fuck up with your money before you finally fucking get it? It was a company built on spam, spaming stolen sites/stolen content, spamming beast sites etc etc etc and the owners got out of it as revenues (spam) declined and the writing was on the wall that there was little future for mailing or building new revenue models that could replace that lost income. Good for them.. bad for you. These people are and have been a complete fucking disaster and you deserve to lose your money if you haven't figured that obvious truth out yet.

Fucking retards. What part of "i am sorry, but we dont have money to pay you because we are sloppy and ignorant" don't you understand?

Hi Dawgy. Na, there have been staff at iBill answering/fending off people. Tho doubt there are any/many working New Years Day :-)

You got reasons for saying the above or have you been lied to?? :winkwink:

s9ann0 01-01-2005 02:27 PM

they are so fucked

s9ann0 01-01-2005 02:30 PM

Speak with your attorney, but it's almost not worth the effort unless you have some speciality issue - other than funds they may owe.

Unless something magical happens, (tho that is not even the end of the story), - the usual bankruptcy and chapter whatever excuses will not be long. It basically means just lodging your claim with the liquidators or whoever.

When you consider, - forgetting all clients funds owed, - iBill did have around $22million deficit at the time of the Penthouse scavenging in the hope they could skin the bones further.

I can't see iBill has any paper value when you add client funds to the deficit (tho some are held by FD and balances at couple of other banks), because others have legal suits pending where the settlement amounts could take the $22m deficit to over $100m - depending.

There are other problems yet, even if iBill closed doors. Their history is being checked out and who knows what may arise out of that - it's colorful!

As far as webmasters are concerned, there is an interesting scenario.. and ironic one, where a liquidator will be negotiating/demanding funds from FD and others (the funds being the property of webmasters) and these funds being applied to evenly pay out the total indebtedness of iBill - basically devaluing the funds due to webmasters. Tho that can be another legal suit :-)

Dunno the law regarding this in the State of Florida, but plenty places elsewhere, it is a corporate criminal offense to operate a company while that company is insolvent. Sadly, I'd think that is pretty close at the moment.

Meanwhile... I better attend InterNext, even if it's just to collect my present from the iBill stand :-) Not!

Dawgy:

Course there are people there who know - I and several others have been dealing with them all last week. There are people there who "know" - but manage to tell others in iBill lies to pass on.

Tho the "dealing" has now ceased - it's already on to the next stage. Sad load of shitbags...

Fatalspeed 01-01-2005 03:59 PM

It's called a telephone, Dawgy. Might want to try it out before insinuating that someone is lying. "cathy, bert, all the sales reps..." :1orglaugh Nice subtle namedropping, dude. Could you impart more of your constructive wisdom on the subject please? It's helpful.
