I pay $260 a month for a family plan. That doesn't sound too unreasonable to me. The US has health insurance if you are old or poor - it is called Medicare and Medicaid. I know a good number of people that say they can't afford health insurance while they are talking on their cell phones, have 2 TV's and have two cars. The US has the best health care in the world, the finest medical institutions in the world, and leads the world in innovation and technology with regards to medicine.

Hey you fuckin idiot, thats how we do things. When we have disasters on our own soil, the government goes to assess the damage to figure out what needs to be done. They dont rely on TV to figure out what needs to be sent, money, medical or construction supplies.

We are on the other side of the planet from where the disaster is and things take time. I'm sure that there will be substantial outpouring of funds and support. That aircraft carrier has medical supplies and equiptment on it that will be used to help the people out. Troops will help with the cleanup. I know this for a fact from the three humanitarian missions I served on while i was in the army, which were Hurrican Andrew, Somalia and the Haiti. Americans are donating online to the various charities to help out the tsunami victims, and around town I see collection boxes setup for this cause and I see people dropping money in them (myself included).

So fuck you, you piece of shit. Our government spends billions a year on foreign aid. Nobody said it happens instantly, but it does happen.

WTF people, US said they were donating, but it will take a while. I think they should've sent rescue teams in the meantime, but...
