I'm not defending him in anyway, I've never even met him, but the simple fact is we all let children view porn as there is no way to stop it. We may not want it to happen and may not like it, but in reality even with having to use a credit card, there is no 100% way to know for sure that you can stop kids from seeing it. As we don't have bouncers checking ID on our website entrances.

Any legalities arising from words on a message forum would be a civil case. You would receive a verdict in your favor only if you could prove loses directly as a result of the offender. I know a CEO of an online auction company personally...he was very successful in getting people on message boards to stop "libeling" hiim and his company.

It got to a point that auctionwatch.com banned his name, and his sites name and any mention of it on their boards.

So for those who think you can just post whatever you want nilly willy on a message board and are within reach of the law...think again.
