Need info from toon designers...
 

I am going to be messing aorund with toon designs, I'd like to keep away from the anime style, but I was looking for good tutorials or just any information on getting started with it. What programs to use? I've heard some people jsut use the pen tool in photoshop? Some use the pen table? What do you recommend and where should I start. If I get good enough, these designs will be mainly used in website logos and such, to give you an idea of the style I'm looking for. I appreciate the help..
