Wireless Router Question

I need a little help. I have a Linksys G and everything works fine. But. If I turn on my cordless phone, it cuts off the connection to the net for the puters. Or if the cordless is on the base charging.

Short of replacing the phone that is 2 months old. Any ideas on how to fix this?

dont walk between them? thats about your only choice i think. i heard some ppl its not too bad if you change the channel on your cordless to one of the higher ones but didnt make too much difference when i tried it with my 2.4ghz phone.

call linksys and talk to them or the telephone company

You need to choose a channel on your phone that your Router is not using .... Remember in the wireless world there are 11 Channels But only 3 of them are non overlapping ... which means ... you can only effectivly use 3 channels with out inteferance from other componets on a 2.4ghz frequency..

Good luck

You need to put a micro data filter on all your phone lines! ask the phone company/bandwidth provider for them. If you have them already tham I'm not sure what the problem is! :2 cents:

It always seemed to work better any had a longer range anyway.
