How many people here have told their Grandmother about what they do?
 

It's easy to tell your mom or dad what you do. How many here have had the balls to tell their Grandmother? Be honest now.

I have. I am the type of person who basically can't lie to save my life.

For the little it's worth my whole family knows (my side not the inlaws). But then it depends on how your various family members are. If I thought it would shock them or hurt them I'd say nothing as why hurt someone you care about for no reason even if (IMHO of course) their values and morals are skewed. There's a few members of my wife's family we wouldn't tell for that vaery reason. They are (unfortunately) VERY religious and it'd simply hurt them to find out.

Well, being as my parents died when I was 11, I grew up with my grandmother.
I'm VERY close to her and she knows what I do.
She really finds nothing wrong with what I do, but back when I was first getting started she was worried because she thought the whole internet porn scene was illegal. She really only cares that i'm happy with what I do and I make money.

I have a very small family so they pretty much all know about it.

right, we are not doing anything wrong, but our grandparents grew up in a different time, so in their eyes, we may be doing something wrong. Although I am proud to say that my granmother is such a open minded sweetheart that she didn't even blink an eye when I told her the industry I work in.

My parents still don't know. And it's been 3 years...

How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? What do your parents think you do? How do you keep it hidden? I can see hiding it for a few months, but 3 years is a long time.

i wouldn't tell my grandparents, they still think "sex before marriage is baaaad" so i'd never say anything like that, it could probably ruin all the good image that they have for me :P

Honestly, it would break my grandmothers heart if she knew the industry I was in. She is just old fashioned, what can you do? There is alot to be said for honesty, but then again, do I really need to break her heart right before she dies? I think not.
