.info domains and Google
 

I dont think I have ever seen a .info domain on a good keyword in Google.

It it worth to even try to build a site for SE with .info domains?

Imho - NO

up until last update there didnt seem tobe any penalities or filters for .info's
But with all the free .info accounts being given out i suspect it may change

the .info is like the peso of domains now not that mch value but if you use it right you can still get a little something out of it...
