To be perfectly honest (and it might not be fair to say) I feel a bit the same way.
My girlfriend and I already gave quite a lot of money to Red Cross here in Denmark and I will most likely give more. Not because it's cool to give more money but because it's needed to help as much as you possible can.

Bump for this large list of places to donate!

I went to the Fushu Daiko Holiday party last night (japanese drumming performance group) and looking around at all the different colors and faces, many of the group from Thailand and SE Asia.. we are going to do a performance benefit concert to help the victims. Anyone in the South Florida area interested in attending should keep watch on http://fushudaiko.com Meanwhile we will all be donating at least 20$ a week to http://RedCross.org until the situation becomes stabalized.

I will never trust the Red Cross again. Not after 9-11.

Good places to donate, Marc De's auction idea should do very well if everyone pitches in just a little bit.

Not sure how many of you remember the last big one we did for 9-11 but I want to say the final total was somewhere in the half million dollars raised range. Marc De and Brad Shaw put up nearly a quarter million between them, with Marc's contribution being around 170k if I recall correctly.
