This may have already been talked about but how come LightingFree is on Huns blacklist? Says it is handling technal dificulties and will be takin of the black list shortly..

I guess that takes care of LF on gregpix then, cool. I posted that because that's what is written on the gregpix partner's gallery submission page. I saw it there this morning when I submitted my gallery for today. I was merely passing it along to see if lightning might care to comment or fix it or whatever.

Now, if the hun will comment on this, maybe we can get LF un-banned there too.

I just hate seeing great hosts like lightningfree or smutserver getting blacklisted by tgp's. It just doesn't make sense these days, because these hosts are recognized as the biggest and the best even by other freehosts. Hell, there are even some tgp's that STILL have smutserver banned because of the OLD smutserver and their horrid practices. You people need to realize, things have changed, the company is different, and there is now no good reason to have these hosts blacklisted.

First I want to say that after this post I will not comment any further on this topic, here or on any other public forum.

As far as myself or any other free host goes, we all try to run our businesses the best way we know how. In doing this there will always be some people and/or sites that we cannot please all of the time. As far as my temporary problem with Hun goes, that is between Hun and I. Hun is a very fair person and we have known each other for a very long time. We are currently working on our issues with him.

CD you and I have been friends for a long time as well, I would not have expected you to throw up some derogatory comment about me. You have my ICQ and email and I would have expected a bit more professional approach to any concerns you have about me and/or my businesses.

Gregpix, well all can can say is thank you for your clarification in regards to this matter.

This board started out many months ago as a great place to meet, help, & share ideas with people. It seems now that every post is either a direct attack on someone, or it's a pointless thread with a bunch of ridiculous, pointless replies.

Hold on a sec. For one thing, the topic was about you (lightningfree) being blacklisted on the hun. I just happened to be submitting a gallery today to gregpix and I noticed that piece of wording on their submit page, so I thought I'd bring it up for discussion. It wasn't meant to piss anyone off, it wasn't meant to cast any sort of shadows on anyone, it was meant to open up some dialogue and maybe get some of these things ironed out.

And I would hope that we aren't all so hyper-sensitive that we can't just freely talk about these things either. My purpose was to see if we can't get some freehosts unbanned from some tgp's, nothing more. If I overstepped, I apologize, but please don't bring my professionalism into question. I really get the feeling that you've taken something the wrong way, or perhaps I've said something incorrectly, but my motives were sound. And I too have email and ICQ and am easy to find privately.

Again, wait a minute! That "quote" was taken directly from the gregpix "paid members" submission page, which is located on the members.aol.com/ server. I won't say the exact url because only paying webmasters are supposed to have it, correct? But that quote is on that page, I'm not seeing things (am I?)

Anyway Greg, I wasn't trying to stir up trouble, I was trying to get some of this out in the open and ironed out. Sorry if my post read differently, I guess I was in a fog this morning. At least now you know what I was referring to, so you may want to adjust that submission page to reflect that.
