What is your Adult Internet Predictions for 2005 ?
 

My predictions for 2005:

(1)
iBill closes shop and fucks us all ( I hope not )

(2)
Reality sites loose steam due to over saturation.

(3)
PPS programs face stiffer Visa Regs. & Increased Foreign Fraud.

(4)
RevShare begins to pickup steam for a comeback!

(5) ??????

And we all gonna make tons of money! Word

I think more non adult companies are going to come into the porn world because they see the easy money. Hosting, billing, SEO, software, etc. There are tons of great companies in the non porn world that have avoided porn because of morality. 2005 will make some of them think about new areas of revenue on the web and look at the porn arena for extra revenue.

I think that will be great for us, it will definitely bring prices down.

#1, #2 and VOD gets bigger.
Also, more people buy content from us.

those all sound good to me, actually with the way things are going it is too scary to think about, major problems all over the world seems like sooner of later it will start here too

Sounds about right! The first I can't hold out much hope on - but hell :-)
I suspect there may also be the introduction of alternative billing services taking a step away from card companies and a continuing demise of third party billing as we know it.

I can belive number 2........way too over saturtated.

My prediction is that as visa regulations get tougher and 3rd party processors all go under, Webmasters will needa safe "Alternative" that brings great products and destination sites!


And then there was...............................

American Express should come out with a pink card just for porn users exclusively to use for buying porn on the web.

If they got back in the business they would capitalise huge on the adult market if this card was just to be used for porn.

Once everyone found out what it was though it would be pretty funny carrying the pink card in your wallet. Not exactly the status card for your wallet like the platinum or black but that card would make them a ton of money.

The smartest among us make the wisest choices.
