How long before geo ip advertising is old news?

How long before every sufer has seen the tons of tgp, galleries, sites using geo ip ads and will ignore because they know its fake.

Cant take too long i guess.

It was old 5 years ago, when we were developing solutions based on GEO. This is new to adult, which is not suprising since most of this industry is 5 years behind the times anyways.

:error It's allready old.
It's just a matter of time before it gets overabused and saturated.

I wonder why adult didn't use this earlier. I wasn't even aware of the technology. I also thought that adult was usually the trailblazer when it came to using new technologies rather than the other way around. *shrug*

For the record GEO:IP sorting isnt 'new to adult' many companies have been using it for 4 to 5 years since it has been around if not earlier in a range of forms.

The recent 'buzz' surrounding geo-targetig is nothing more than marketing hype to aid the programs that have only just embraced this antiquainted technology.
