Siebel Systems (SEBL) and Salesforce.Com are looking good. What's your best for the coming year?

I thought siebel was a sinking ship. big enterprise apps still getting those 1999-style deals?

The price is looking attractive at current levels. Plus they do still have some major contracts while they are reshaping their biz.

sounds like they are still riding on residuals from the boomtime. i still like oracle and SAP for enterprise software apps. siebel... meh.

ORCL is looking good. Any other bets out there? Is it safe to go into the fiber optic waters again? (ducking)

not my domain, sorry. .com will still be strong through 05 i think. fastclick going IPO last i heard.

What are your thoughts on fastclick (6 month performance post IPO)?

i know absolutely NOTHING about their fundamentals other than that big infusion of cash they just got a few months back. personally i thought they would have been acquired by now by google or yahoo. i think adbrite (pud) is looking to catch this train as well by raking in the bottom tier publishers. there's going to be a lot of consolidation happening and a shitload of opportunities for creative publishers.

CHENIERE ENERGY looks interesting. Any danger of buying at the top?

if you're still bullish on oil, this has been my pot o' gold pick for the last couple years. it's a trust, not really a stock. but it's consistent and nice dividend. but oil prices can still plummet.
