Maximum Cash
 

I've started using Maximum Cash and now I'm realizing it's not what I thought it was. They were talking about increasing percentages and I thought they meant it was recurring revenue, especially since my sales were just showing up as $26. But now I'm realizing my 75% commission means 75% of the first month trial! Don't a lot of people use Maximum Cash? I can't see why if they pay $26 per signup. Sure they raise your percentage 1% every month you stay with them, but that takes 25 months before you get...ooooo 100% commission! Meaning $35 per signup.

Ah OK. But still, why wait 5 months before I can get the industry standard of $35 per signup? And are my sales worth any less to them now than they would be in five months? No. It just seems weird. I have to agree to let them pay me below industry standard for five months for basically no reason. I don't see why people would do it.

I just did some quick math. If I sent 2 signups a day to Max Cash for the next five months, this is how it would break down:

month 1: $26.25 x 60 signups
month 2: $28.00 x 60
month 3: $29.75 x 60
month 4: $31.50 x 60
month 5: $33.25 x 60
= $8,925.00 over 5 months

or I sign up with a sponsor that pays $35 per signup immediately, and make $35 x 60 signups a month ($2,100) x five months, that would be
= $10,500.00 over 5 months

If anyone from Max Cash reads this board, please explain to me why I should lose $1,500 over this time period, assuming I only send 2 signups a day. =P

Just want to add my 2 cents on MaxCash. First of all, The MaxCash crew is one of the most reputable companies in this business. They epitomize professionalism in an industry that could use a lot more of it. PayCounter does business with MaxCash whenever we have an opportunity. They are a joy to work with.

As far as your math goes, Aly, Snoops or Cindy will be able to give you a better answer than I can, but looking at your math you forgot to calculate the value of their bonuses.

They have 2 types of bonuses:
1) Marketing Bonus (Basically earn over $3K/month)
2) Multiple Site Bonus (There are a couple ways to qualify, but basically get 5 signups on 4 of their sites in a month to get this one)

Each of those give you an additional 10%, which gets your max earnings per signup up to $42/signup.

I've used MaxCash since '97 and have been making $42/signup each month since then by qualifying for their bonuses.

Their bonuses and percentage system are setup to encourage and reward long term affiliates. They are looking for long term partners (and you should be looking for long term sponsors as well).

Another benefit of MC is that they have tons of resources available to webmasters to help build traffic and improve conversions. Aly, Snoops and Cindy will work with anyone for as long as it takes!

KC - I second the notion! I have been using MaxCash since '98 and have always gotten the $42 per signup. They are a class act and the $$$ is hard to beat.
One tip is to find several sites that fit your traffic and focus on those. I do awesome with Mature, Fetish, and Teen traffic because that is what I send, but can't convert amateur or lesbian traffic to save my ass..probably because I don't have very much of that type of traffic.
Get the bonuses and get $42 per signup. Simple as that..

Figure out your per-click amount if you want to know who you make the most with. If you don't know the per-click amount you make with each sponsor then you are flying blind. Also make sure to track your hits out yourself so you have an accurate accounting of what ratios you are really getting. If you have 2 sponsors paying the same amount per signup and you get 3 signups a day with each sponsor yet Sponsor#1 counts raw and Sponsor#2 counts uniques and they each show you sending 1500 hits a day then you probably only made half as much per-click with Sponsor#1 as you did with Sponsor#2 because you probably had to send twice as much traffic.

It doesn't matter who pays the most - it matters who you make the most $$$ with.
Just like it doesn't matter who has the most traffic, it matters who knows how to convert their traffic the best.
